On July 1, Dylan Gillespie, a Bozeman-based professional triathlete, is dedicating his 12-hour time trial ride to The Rock Youth Center with the goal of raising $20,000 to support The Rock's mission. Join Dylan's team today by donating below!
This is why he does it. "Back in 2020, I completed the first of these 12-hour time trials while working to raise awareness for human sex trafficking—riding 260 miles and climbing over 11,000 feet. It pushed me to my limits and remains one of the top 5 most emotional and transformational experiences of my life.
To suffer for 12 hours straight, you need a strong purpose that keeps you fighting for every mile - and this year, I’m riding to support The Rock Youth Center, a local nonprofit that provides a safe, supportive space for teens facing issues like suicide, drug problems, broken homes, and loneliness.
This year, I am aiming for 300 miles, 25 mph for 12 hours straight. Knowing every mile counts for The Rock kids and young adults will keep me pushing until the clock stops."
